Pick the tote if you want one bag for everything. Pick the card holder if you mostly carry a small purse and need the loose bits contained. They share the same print, so they work as a pair if you want both.

Yes, a 14-inch laptop fits with room for a bottle and a light jacket. Handles are stitched twice for exactly that kind of weight.
Does the print fade?
The print is screen-printed rather than ironed on, so it survives washing. Wash cold and inside out to keep it sharp longer.
Does the card holder fit in a pocket?
Yes. It is about the size of a deck of cards, so it fits a jeans pocket or a small crossbody without a bulge.
