Cute Notebooks & Journals
Pastel hardcover journals and notebooks from Pocket of Joys. Lined or dot grid, 100gsm paper that holds gel in
A good notebook is the one you actually open. Ours are hardcover with a stitched spine so they lay flat, and the paper is 100gsm — thick enough that gel ink and marker do not show through to the other side.
Covers are printed with simple pastel patterns: soft florals, dots, tiny stars. They look tidy on a desk and clean enough to hand to someone as a gift.
How to choose
Lined if you write notes and lists. Dot grid if you sketch, bullet journal or like a little structure without lines fighting your handwriting. Elastic band and ribbon marker both come included on the hardcover size.
Notebooks & Journals FAQ
How many pages does a journal have?
The A5 hardcover runs 160 pages, which is about six months of daily notes. The smaller pocket size is 96 pages and fits a jacket pocket.
Will marker bleed through?
Fine-tip pens and gel ink will not bleed. Alcohol markers will ghost slightly, so use a sheet behind the page if you plan to colour heavily.
Does it lay flat?
The hardcover does, because the spine is stitched rather than glued. The softcover notebooks need a little pressure to stay open.
